Our central question is simple: does this product or system earn the space, maintenance and money it requires?
Hands-on tested reviews
We use “tested” only when an editor or contributor has used the product directly. A review explains the test period, setting, tasks, storage footprint, maintenance and important limitations. Original photographs or other evidence are included when appropriate.
Researched comparisons
When products have not been used directly, the page is labeled “researched comparison.” We examine manufacturer documentation, dimensions, warranty information, safety guidance and credible independent sources. We do not convert research into fake personal experience.
The score
Where a score is used, it considers problem solved, space efficiency, ease of use, maintenance, build quality and value. The article must explain the reasoning; a number never replaces evidence.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate links may generate revenue, but commercial terms do not determine inclusion or conclusions. Products supplied by a manufacturer are disclosed.
